Welcome to the online home of Brian Robinson
My students should go to the Teaching page for information on their courses.
My research stands at the confluence of ethics, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science. Much of my recent work has focuses on gossip, bragging, and the virtue of humility. Before joining Texas A&M University – Kingsville, I was a post-doctoral fellow (and continue to collaborate) with the Toolbox Project at Michigan State University, which is an initiative sponsored by the US National Science Foundation that uses philosophical concepts and methods in dialogue-based workshops to enhance communication and collaboration in interdisciplinary scientific research. You can read about the project in my recent guest post at Daily Nous.
I have taught philosophy at Brooklyn College, Grand Valley State University, and Michigan State University.
There’s my academia.edu page to check out.
